To help children overcome their difficulties through play, discover our collection of fun activity books and workbooks linked to primitive reflexes.
My reflexes
and my reading
Children start learning to read when they start primary school at around the age of six. Some children have already made a good start in kindergarten, while others will take a little longer to develop this new skill, which, like writing, is not in built.
If you notice that your child has persistent difficulty reading, or you simply want to help them gain self-confidence, you first should understand that the presence of certain primitive reflexes, which can be a sign of central nervous system immaturity, can affect the basic functions of learning (particularly cognition and sensory perception).
This manual allows you to work on the reflexes that are fundamental to reading, such as the alignment of the eye and inner ear (ocular and labyrinthine righting) and the symmetrical tonic reflex of the neck which enhances visual and auditory perception, as well as to tone the muscles of the spine and the control of the head and neck.
